newbie to morrisons home delivery shopping-questions

I'm so bloody disabled now the time's come for grocery home delivery. I''ve picked Morries cos I know the shop/what I like from there/etc.
So, before I complete my first order, my essential question is - do the drivers bring your stuff through to the kitchen?( Am prepared to bribe if the answer is no!)That's essential for me cos I now can't walk without my walker, therefore doorstep delivery's going to throw up problems.
Space is limited so I'm thinking a weekly delivery - do you usually get the same driver/team of drivers so you get to know them?

I’ve used them for years and never once had the same driver twice! The drivers are employed by Ocado not Morrisons. Apart from the odd grumpy sod they’re delightful, usually in a mad rush and often running quite ahead of schedule though they tend to phone if they’re very early to check you’re in. Since having my baby I’ve started to ask them to bring everything into the kitchen and only once had someone grump at me when he didn’t offer and I had to ask but I was 2 weeks post Emcs and couldn’t bend or lift anything much so just sorry I’ve recently had surgery I’d appreciate your help and stood there waiting!

On the whole I’m pretty happy with them and tried Ocado, Tesco and Asda as well but prefer Morrisons.

There’s a £40 minimum order.

We use Tesco, just because we live remote and they’re the only aids who come to our area!
If we book the same slot/time frame we tend to get the same driver - but it does vary.
That being said, they’ll put the shopping where ever I ask them too, one Doesn’t because he’s scared of my dog (who literally sits and watches so I’m guessing it’s his fear, not my dog!)

Hi sorry to hear you're in this situation. I've had Morrison's deliveries for years now. Couldn't be happier with their service. They will bring the bags in for you - ask if they don't offer. Save the bags to give back to the following delivery driver and you get 5p per bag back off your bill. On the odd occasion that a package has burst I've had the entire bag of groceries refunded with no issues. We don't get the same delivery driver but they've always been cheerful and friendly. Hope you get the same service I've always had.

I haven't used morrisons yet (they only recently started delivery in my area so will do once my current delivery subscription ends), but I always specify a doorstep delivery and my deliverers also seem caught off guard, ready to come in to the kitchen!

I use Morrisons and Ocado. They will bring bags in for you (ask f they don't offer). Never get the same driver though but they are all very good, ime.

I’ve used Morrisons every week for years now and I think they’re brilliant.
They usually ask me ‘do you need a hand with your shopping’ - I usually decline and pop it inside the front door so I presume they do take it to your kitchen - I would check with customer services though,

I’ve rarely had the same driver at all, so it would most likely be a different one each time.

I personally find the range available from Morrisons quite poor, a lot of 'this or nothing'

We have Sainsbury's, often have the same slot, seems to be a group of drivers. Most are fine, there is a grumpy one though.

I'll certainly have to specify kitchen tops delivery and now I know they do it. - brill. - I've got this weird neuro condition which affects my legs - you know you're going to have a Bad Day when you get out of bed - and promptly fall over!
So, from the feedback here, I'm going ahead with my first order. Morries was one of the s/markets on my delivery routes, hadn't shopped there before I became disabled, but I'm impressed by everything I've subsequently read about their ethics - gosh! I actually had a pang of regret when Old Man William Morrison died

Just a note on veggies - the sizes of the stuff they send can be very random. I’ve had the smallest aubergine that ever existed and the hugest cauliflower! I’ve learned to modify my cooking to accommodate the random nature of things you get but it’s all part of the fun

And the wonky range, though it has sporadic availability, is brilliant. Great quality and extremely good value. The wonky veg box has been brilliant in the autumn/winter if you’re able to sit or stand and prepare stuff for stews.

Sounds like you’ve had it pretty rough with your condition so I hope deliveries make life a bit easier. Also make sure you save up points in their loyalty scheme. I save them for end of the month shops or if we’re hosting people or for Christmas. Quickly adds up!

My experience with Morrisons is that they are usually happy to take it into the kitchen, and they are generally pleasant. They have a wider range of products than Tesco, but I've had a few bad experiences with their meat.

I've had good experiences with Tesco and Morrisons, scary experiences with Sainsburys and I've been judged by Asda. I think a lot depends on the local depot.

On the websites there are usually contact numbers, so if you give a call ahead, you can clarify policy and make sure that they are able to bring it in.

Once you have settled down to a regular delivery, you may like to look at a Delivery Saver, but if you are at home all the time and can order at unpopular slots, you can usually save money just ordering then.

NB Minimum order at Morrisons is £40 but other supermarkets will deliver for a lesser amount, but charge you more for delivery.

I am disabled a widow , not ancient but my lovely husband died when i was just 60 and my brother has had three strokes in 12 months after 75 years of perfect health ,anyway just booked delivery for tomorrow 21.12.24 and just phoned to ask if they would kindly bring it in kitchen as i literally cant get out as house is up 10 steps. Man said I should have told them before ordering He kept me on hold for 5 minutes and then said its entirely up to the driver and if he isnt happy entering he can take everthing away . I coudnt believe this as Tesco and Sainsburys are always helpful .They can see my zimmer and sticks etc so I am not sure whether to cancel as I have a small order Monday evening with Tesco Life is hard enough without this type of worry .
