IPhone with heatstroke (I’m not kidding)

I’ve got back from a holiday that was very very hot and my poor (newish) iPhone’s battery is fried. We both got heatstroke!

It can’t hold a charge for very long even if I’m not using it.

Is there anything I can do? It’s only a couple of months old!

Still under Apple warranty so I’d book and take it in. People live in hot places and use phones after all

Good thinking batman. A relative did say that he left his phone in his car (he lives near the desert) one day and it fried!

You usually get a message when it gets too hot. If you take it the an Apple store (book an appointment)they will be able to test the battery to see if it's had it.

I didn’t get the temperature warning but found that the battery ran down even if it wasn’t on! Yes think you are right - it needs a checkup!
