Wooden hot tub?

No, it won't be a sex pond Grin We live somewhere that's warm in the summer and cold with snow in the winter, and are thinking about getting a wood fired wooden hot tub. Has anyone got one? Don't know whether we should go for lined or unlined, no jets, air bubbles or hydro jets. Think we're going for an external stove to give us a bit more space. We have lots of wood so it would be free to run, other than the electricity if we went down the bubble route. We're also very rural so it would be great for star watching at night.

I have one it is about 15 years old and an Oslo 2000 Spaform they don't make them anymore. It has been great I have only had to replace the pump once and paint the outside once a year.

It is like this one.

Thanks Miley, good to hear it's lasted so well. This is the kind of thing we are looking at (but maybe a slightly cheaper model!)

You can also have them lined so then a bit more like yours.
