Bedroom smells of wee - ideas?

My daughter's bedroom smells of wee. It's grim. Her mum says she spilled a bit of wee from a potty on the carpet about a week ago. It's an indestructible acrylic carpet and she has scrubbed the place where she spilled it with detergent several times. It's still just as bad.
Any ideas?
Think we'll hire a carpet cleaner and shampoo the whole carpet. If that doesn't work I suppose we'll have to get rid of the carpet?!

Maybe try the stuff that gets rid of the smell of pet urine.

Put bicarb of soda down, then spray white vinegar and leave to soak, then hoover up. It wont smell of bingar or wee

I'd use an enzyme cleaner too. Look in the pet shop

Urine neutraliser. Search prochem on Amazon!

Sprinkle with lots of bicarb of soda ( baking section of supermarket). Brush it deep into the carpet pile & leave overnight. Vacuum up. Repeat if necessary.

God knows what she's drinking! We've had plenty of wee accidents over the years but never a stink like this. My theory is that it didn't get cleaned up properly at the time as it was night time and now she's not aure where the spill was.

I'm not sure it's the carpet no. But it's a co-incidence if not. Worth washing the duvet etc I guess - good idea. I did wonder if a wee soaked nappy had got lost somewhere (vom) but can't find one!!!

Will get some pet wee stuff, good idea. Wonder if you can get that to put in a carpet cleaning machine.

There is a beanbag in the room...but surely I'd know if she'd weed on that! I mean, it would smell. It's a more...generalised smell.
