I was a SAHM for five years but went back to work when DC3 was 18 months. This week my husband has been away on a work trip and I have been at home with the three of them. DH went on Sunday last week. Due back tomorrow at 4pm.
HE CAN NOT COME BACK SOON ENOUGH.
These kids are killing me. They are 6,4 and 2. They are relentless. They don’t stop. Talking, moving, fighting, talking. When I was at home, I had it LOCKED DOWN. I knew exactly what was what. I was completely in control. This week has been chaos and though we’ve managed to be out every day and meeting friends, I’m exhausted, craving personal, physical and mental space and I can’t wait to go back to work on Monday. I’ve only been back at work a year! What happened?!
