Calling pigletjohn or other practical types. Boiler seems to be setting smoke alarm off!

Not often or even regularly but sometimes.

NO smoke or fire or anything! Seems to be working as it should otherwise.

But when we use the hot water a lot or like today it's a bit nippy where we are and so we've put the heating on for couple hours just.

I really don't want to have to call anyone out especially over a weekend if I can avoid it but it IS annoying when it happens.

We have the world's smallest kitchen and we're having to keep kitchen door shut on days when we're using the hot water a lot or having heating on.

Can anyone help?

It's fine for now but as I say annoying when it does happen.

Is it definitely a smoke alarm or could it be a co2 monitor, they can look very similar. Either way get someone out to service your boiler as an emergency.

Carbon dioxide detector perhaps? The fire service will respond to that and check it out for you I think.

CO, not CO2

That was my thought though.

Definitely NOT CO detector they are completely separate units with very different alarm sounds and locations.

Chap showed me when the gas safety check was being done a few months ago.
