My daughter has started to smell under her armpits , it's a proper B.O smell like how I smell of I forgot deodorant.

I thought oh it's a one off , but she still smells days later ( she bathes every day ) .

Is this right ?

It could be early puberty, especially if she is a little overweight. If you see other signs or the problem persists it is worth talking to a GP as they may be able to delay it a few years.

My skinny 6 year old had this too despite daily washing. I spoke with Doc and they said not to worry - very common. She now uses a very natural deodorant and that has made a huge difference.

My 7 year old has this too. Doctor also said not to worry but it's worth mentioning incase. He uses a natural deodorant from Holland and Barrett now

Is she anxious or stressed. When we're anxious or stressed out bodies can sweat and this sweat is produced by Apocrine glands not the eccrine glands (that produce sweat to cool us and when we exercise). The apocrine glands produce a type of sweat that contains proteins and fat, when these mix with the natural flora (bacteria) on the skin the bacteria eat the protein and fat and produce waste products that smell bad. Our ds (now 15) suffers from anxiety and he would almost instantly start to smell really bad if he got really stressed and anxious.

Should add that he did this from a young age (7/8yrs).
