First attempt - I'm pretty happy with the outcome and really hope I still feel the same in the morning when I'm sober. Hacked off 2.5 inches initially then thought "fuck it" and hacked off another 2.5. It has a little Farrah/Pat Sharpe-esque-ness to it but I can live with that

I'm glad some of you can see the after, it's definitely there for me - I'm not sure why when uploading photos on the app it always seems to be pot luck who can see them! I just brushed my hair forward into a ponytail right in the front middle of my forehead, chopped across with the kitchen scissors and then feathered it out by doing a million cuts straight up into it. Took all of about 3 minutes each time

Thanks so much for all the positive responses. I hate going to the hairdressers (manage about once a year in a good year) so it is absolutely wonderful to realise I will never have to go again now I can do this!!
