What is the best age to take kids to Disneyland?

Just as the title reads!! When do you think kids get the most out of Disneyland? (Florida). What park is best? What's the best time of year and for how long? Who is best to book with and how far in advance? How much does it realistically cost?

My DDs are only 4 and 2 but we definitely want to take them when they are a bit older. DD1 asks almost daily when we can go 😂. Doesn't help she's seen YouTube videos of families at Disneyland 🙄 having the best time ever.

Would be flying from the UK.

TIA!

I took my dd for new year 07 into 08.
She was 8 almost 9 so. Old enough to remember and appreciate it but. Still young enough to think that make believe was real,

I would take them at 5 and 7.

I was thinking the summer before DD2 starts school, so she will be 5 and DD1 would be nearly 8. Wasn't sure though if DD2 would be able to do some of the rides or if she would remember it

Springtime before eldest starts school. Old enough to enjoy it, cooler weather , shorter ques and lower prices.

Age 8 upwards. I was surprised that there didn't seem to be a huge amount for under 5s, lots of things had height restrictions & it was quite crowded.
