Suncream then make up or the other way

This is probably a silly question but I hardly ever wear make up.

My make up is factor 15 but I tend to use factor 50 as I burn/have a toddler so don't buy 2 lots.

Should I put the suncream on first or would it be less effective/harder to put make up on top?

Should I wait for the makeup to settle and then put it on or will I just smudge everything?

Sun cream first for me, the powder covers the shiny ness, and also adds more layers to my sun protection.

I always put suncream on first, then wait 15-20 minutes for it to sink in before putting makeup on. I imagine if you put it on over makeup it would smudge and smear everything. You can get special SPF spray that you can put on over makeup and top-up during the day but it didn't agree with me when I tried it.

I use that P20 stuff that lasts all day, but I use the one that is factor 50 and I put it on 20 mins before I'm going to put my make up on to let it really sink in, as it is a bit sticky initially and you need to leave it to really absorb. After 20 mins, I do a quick swipe over with make up remover to take off any residue, put my slap on and it seems to work a treat.
