Hi there, I went to Australia six years ago, so I’m just checking if anybody has been recently. Is the application process still the same? Do I just need to go on the visitor page and get the tourist visa for three months? Also, I’m going to a conference in surfers Paradise, but I won’t be staying at the conference hotel. I will look on Airbnb, but other than that could somebody recommend anything that’s not too too expensive? Also, the last day of the conference is the day before my birthday, so I wanted to treat myself to a trip to the great barrier reef. Is this easy to do from surfers Paradise? I am visually impaired and will be on my own, so no driving!
