How to get make up out of carpet??

I’ve dropped my foundation on my carpet & I've tried rubbing it with a cloth & a bit of washing up liquid...but it’s not budging. Have i rubbed it too much & it’s gone into the fibres?
Please tell me there is something else I can try?

Posted too soon. I've had to get mascara out of a carpet and used a non-oily eye make up remover for that.

As someone with 4 now grown up DDs, micellar water is now a miracle! I use paper cotton buds and scrub till it foams. Their bathroom carpet finally isn’t as awful. Use magic sponges for nail polish on the bath...
