Hit me with party ideas for 3 year old

Can’t afford soft play as we are looking at 30 children. Mainly ages 3/4 but the odd few up to age 7 and a few babies.

I have hired our village hall and will get a bouncy castle but does anyone have any ideas for other things to entertain that many children without costing a fortune?

i would probably do a game of music bumps, and some dancing to songs like heads, shoulders, knees and toes and old macdonald. you could also have some stations around the room with things like playdough and cookie cutters, a tray full of water and water toys, glue and pompoms to stick to paper. so mostly craft activities.

all the best x

Balloons.
'treasure hunt' (at this age, scatter chocs about with gay abandon). Do it in a separate area.
What's The Time Mr Wolf.
Pin the tail on the donkey - underrated but you need at least 2 adults.
Face painting? more adults or at least teenagers.
Story telling with sound effects - have someone making the sounds as you read aloud. Hilarious.
Tea.

Provide something for the grown ups, I went to one party where they didn't offer so much as a glass of water to the adults.

DON'T HAVE PASS THE PARCEL it's a depressing nightmare.

Have large numbers of adults to manage the bouncy castle.

If you are hiring a bouncy castle the companies that provide them often will also do various soft play packages which cost very little extra and will be fun. Even if you just get a ball pit and some ride on toys etc. Otherwise, rather than hiring a Village Hall you could look at party packages at a nearby leisure centre etc.

Don’t have face painting if you have a bouncy castle.

Set up some play stations - an area with building blocks/ duplo, an area with train tracks and train, and another with some colouring sheets and crayons.

At 3 they don’t have enough experience of teachers and following instructions to make party games viable.

But pass the parcel can be good. Put stickers or something small in each layer and make sure everyone gets something.

Nothing wrong with a dvd as a back up too.

We had a craft table. Bought a load of cheap bits from Hobby Craft and Wilko, did felt animals, paper plate decorating, finger painting... various Pinterest ideas! The kids loved it.

Gingerbread man decorating was also a hit.

Other then that, just let them dance and run about with their mates!
