Does the Early Pregnancy Clinic keep your records private?

Some NHS services such as walk in centres and sexual health places do not inform the GP of your visit or outcome, etc, without consent.

Is the same thing in place for early pregnancy clinics?

I want to attend one but I would really rather prefer my GP wasn't aware of my involvement with them.

Thank you x

Yes, it will be on 'connect care' it all pulls through electronically.

IAsk How does that work then? Is that just EPU doing that?

I work for another NHS organisation and we never share info without prior consent

I would just go private for a scan. They don’t I’d you and ask for proof of doctors etc then it can’t be linked. Just don’t be silly if it comes up with something dangerous

I can confirm they do keep it private if requested to do so
