This is not for a special event, but yesterday in M&S I tried a dress that made me feel bloody lovely....not to be wet but after years of health problems and being very overweight, not wanting to buy clothes as I had no self esteem, hated seeing myself in the mirror - I’ve lost weight and spur of the moment tried it on and the colour and style were so nice on me, I feel silly saying it, but it actually made me tear up.
Lovely as it was, the size wasn’t right and my perfect fit size was out of stock. Also out of stock on the website (not restocking) and not available in any store within a manageable travelling distance from where we live in Suffolk. None in London where DH works, or any town/city where there is anyone I know.
It is showing in stock in a few places, but M&S stores can’t take payment over the phone, a lovely man from CS was really disappointed not to help me this morning.
It comes in a couple of other colours, but this one is the one that looked so nice.
It’s just a dress, and normally I’d accept it just being a shame and move on, but then I thought of MNers. Big ask I know, as like I said, it’s not a special occasion, but maybe someone amazing might find it and maybe be willing to trust me to pay them (for dress and postage) and send it to me?
