Does anyone get "windy/flatulent" and sleepy just from going low sugar (i.e. not completely quitting sugar)?

I know with quitting sugar completely, sugar withdrawal symptoms such as bloating, gas, tiredness, etc. are commonly heard of in the initial few days but does that happen if going LOW sugar too? i.e. just complete avoidance of processed sugar foods (no biscuits, cakes, sweets, chocolates, sugary drinks, etc.) but still eating a few fruits (1 banana on one of the days, 3 or 4 blackberries/raspberries on another day etc. and still eating some white carbs)
