I missed a call today, didn’t recognise the number so googled it and it happens to be a company I previously applied for a job with.
However, I had applied a while ago (25th March) so had previously presumed I would’ve been rejected especially considering I’ve had no other contact from them - not even an acknowledgment of my application.

I feel awkward calling as I have no idea which employee would have called, and it’s a main office telephone line if that makes sense (rather than an individual employee)
