Did you dye your hair when pregnant?

I know on the nhs website it suggests it's safe. You just need to do a patch test to make sure you don't react. However, I am abit of a worrier. So just wondered if most ladies still get it done when pregnant?

Yes, no problems having my hair highlighted with foils and also strands pulled through a cap. Pls don't worry about such issues - if having your hair done makes you feel / look good, go for it!

Yes I did, like you checked the NHS advice and spoke to my hairdresser about it and had no issues.

Yes, no issues either. And now I have the baby I'm really struggling to get it done again so I recommend getting it done as close to your due date as possible!

Yes, root colour regularly and highlights a few times too. No issues.

I've bleached and dyed mine. Just make sure you're in a well ventilated room as the fumes can make you feel.abit sick!

Yes. With my first I tried to wait until 12 weeks. Don't think I waited with my 2nd... no issues.

I got my hairdresser to bleach mine and half of it fell out. Thank God I'd only had the underside of my hair done and it was somewhat hidden by the rest of my hair.

Fine on the hair dye.

Some ladies on some threads I've lurked on suggested buying the book Expecting Better. It was a really good suggestion if you're interested in informed decision making.

Another yes, I was using semi permanent at the time but dyed it all the way through! I was worried too but spoke to the midwife who assured me it was fine, but that for some reason pregnancy can change the colour from how it normally looks! So just be careful of that! It didn't for me, but just a warning!
