Does anyone have more than one mobile phone for work?

Just being nosey/wondering cos a guy came into reception and asked me to look after his phones while he visited someone. He had 4 phones 'for work'. Seems a bit excessive.

Ok he can have as many as he likes, his business - which has me wondering what business - I should say that it is a mental health unit and we do get some dodgy types (their drug dealers coming to visit). I may be a bit suspicious, maybe he is legit. I must say though it would drive me mad to have that many phones!!!

Maybe two phones for work one out of hours phone

I thought that too! (well - after the drug dealer thing. My mind is working overtime!). Hope he has a good memory!

Only person I ever encountered with multiple phones was a drug dealer.

One would be nice!! I have to use my own phone for work

DH has two I think - one is shared across the team for when he's on call. 4 is indeed excessive

I do, I have a work mobile and an out of hours work mobile, I also had a third when I regularly went to the states for work:

I used to have my work phone and then up to two additional duty phones at times, so three maximum.

I have but I just use dual SIM rather than 2 separate phones.
