Please say I’m not the only one this is happening to?

I really seem to struggle with peoples faces as I age.

If I’m watching a film and two characters look similar, I can really end up losing the plot. Obviously it will be two males or two females.

It doesn’t just happen with actors either..I can do it with relatives too

I popped to the toilet in McDonald’s after my husband got my grandsons some food and brought it outside...as I’m passing an ordering station I nearly said to this child, come on,, what are you doing there..we are nearly ready to go.
Then I realised it wasn’t my grandson. He was same height, pale skin, long thin untanned lags and wearing a baseball cap.
He was with his dad 😱

I follow strange men round shopping centres, thinking they are my husband. I nearly kissed the top of ones head once as he was sat down in a centre..luckily I realised my mistake.

If my husband went missing I couldn’t tell you what he was wearing.

Dementia runs through my family like a river, so I do find it worrying
Plus I don’t always remember being like this.

I’m hoping it’s a condition and not old age or worse setting in.

Woah.

That sounds scary. I'd be seeing the GPP

Sorry but I think you need to see the GP
