BT homehub not working- orange flashing light

Have tried the recommended troubleshooting- eg switching off for a while (including all devices), plugging in elsewhere, testing line (apparently fine). Don’t currently have the resilience to phone BT’s Customer Services in India.

Was wondering if this is a temporary glitch from yesterday’s hot weather (internet has only been down today) - has anyone else had this? Or any further trouble shooting ideas?

Sorry, just seen that you have tried this, think you might have to phone them, do they offer live chat support?

Hmm - registering for ‘online support’ (a bit ironic given BT broadband isn’t working). Just have to wait x5 days to receive something through the post Grin

Left it switched off overnight and it's come back this morning Smile

Didn't realise how reliant I am on the internet -- eg checking weather, shop opening times, type of soil for a particular plant, watching programmes in iPad in bed, checking film reviews on IMDb before watching on tv etc

Relieved I didn't have to navigate BT's Customer Services, engineer call out etc
