Swollen eyes after semi perm eyelashes

Had my eyelashes done yesterday evening and I've woken up this morning with incredibly sore and bloodshot eyes. My bottom waterline is really stinging and looks a bit swollen.

I'm due to go out tonight and need to help relieve my eyes, does anyone have any tips?

Did you have a patch test?.

That’s how reactions build up though, repeated exposure. Try taking an antihistamine. Just cheap generic ones will work.

I had this when I had semi perm lashes. The only solution was to have them removed. I would give the salon a ring, they should be able to fit you in for an urgent removal. In the mean time I found that oily eye make up remover dissolved some of the glue and eased the itching.

You need a patch test every time! Blimey I wouldn’t be going to that place again.

Take an antihistamine and if they start swelling so you can’t see I’d be getting in touch with a dr.
