Fake burger cheese what's it called

I'm having a barbecue and want to order some of those cheese squares that are individually wrapped for putting on burgers but aren't actually called cheese.

Does anyone know what they're called, can't find them on Tesco online as it's just fancy cheese slices.

I'm aware there's no nutritional value they're just customary to have

They are just called cheese slices , look up the dairy Lea ones on Tesco and it should show you there own cheaper version . I call it artificial cheese .

If you put in Dairylea cheese slices they may come up. I've had that issue with Tesco before where they just offer you normal cheese in slices

My mistake, it's Asda that calls them cheese singles. Tesco it's mild slices.

Processed cheese slices. It really fecks me off that I can get 8 different types of Gorgonzola from Ocado but they don’t stock processed cheese slices. They do the dairylea ones, but I want cheap crappy orange ones.

I'm also quite partial to a breville toasty with cheap wet ham, plastic cheese and beans on crap white bread too obvs.

God yes, It has to be real butter, kept in a Le Creuset butter dish natch

The awful cheese that’s so prolific in the States is Monterey Jack. It’s fucking vile. Nothing like proper cheese, more like bright yellow plastic. I think that’s what they use for burgers there.
