Just looking at holidays, will be 34+4 when we return with baby no2.

We live in SW London, is it bonkers to go to padstow? I suggested Weymouth but DH doesn't think there will be enough nice restaurants (basically! I love it there ) Had a lovely time in Dartmouth, salcombe, Bournemouth before. Is 5 hrs too far from home? Is there anywhere with padstow/etc vibes closer to home? Have a 1 yr old too. A shame DH is picky as I love weymouth/swanage area.

Possibly Poole but it's a bit big I think? Not too quick to get to the beaches from what I can remember

Weymouth is much nicer then Poole. There aren't many nice restaurants but there are a few. Regarding the pregnancy I think I'd do it but it depends how much of a disaster you'd see it as if you ended up having the baby in Dorset or Cornwall.

I would, I mean you have another 6 weeks until full term. When did your first arrive? I’d rethink if they were early!

I know it's so tough to know, dc1 was induced at 38 weeks so I'm hoping this one will go to term as I wasn't anywhere near in labour when I was induced.

I Was thinking if I'm in labour in Dorset we could drive back (obvs not me!!) To London if I go into labour but then equally nor sure how sensible going on a longish drive in labour could be!
