What's the best ice lolly?

I'm going with Soleros. They're fruity and refreshing and contain ice cream which is much nicer than a solid ice lolly IMO.

What's your ice lolly of choice on a day like this?

Thanks for the handy tip Bishop !!

I do love a Solero, but in this heat you need something a bit more refreshing.

Best lolly I've had in recent memory was a cola calippo in Italy. I also did a bit of ice sculpture with my teeth to entertain DP Grin

I used to love a lemonade sparkle.

Morrison's coconut ones are good or a cherry jubbly.

RavenTitan · 25/07/2019 15:49

Rockets. Asda and Co op ones good. Smile

*NewIDMe. Iceland's website shows new Gin and Tonic popsicles as they call them. Like Callipo style.

Strawberry Calipo.

FrangipaniBlue · 25/07/2019 16:00

Cider Lolly

ememem84 · 25/07/2019 16:01

The Iceland g&t “calippos” are amazing. Although I didn’t realise they did actually have around 2% alcohol. Currently pregnant and have eaten about 3 boxes:..oops.

PineappleSeahorse · 25/07/2019 16:16

SapatSea Iceland have the Dale Farm pear lollies listed on their site.

Del Monte smoothie lollies, raspberry is the best

CharminglyGawky · 25/07/2019 16:26

Twister or fab.

Supermarket own mixed ice lolly boxes normally have cola lollies, and rocket lollies.

Ocado have some awesome mojito ice lollies complete with a wedge of lime frozen into it, they are rather incredible. Same brand also do a strawberry and rose one. Sadly I only shop from Ocado when they send me a voucher!

I think I'm trying to live off of ice lollies at the moment Grin

Branleuse · 25/07/2019 16:28

i love the scottish raspberry ones from waitrose.

Ramalambadingdong · 25/07/2019 16:30

Pimms lollies, deliciously refreshing!

troppibambini · 25/07/2019 16:32

The best ice lolly ever made were toffee crumbles. I'm not sure you can get them any more but my god they were lollies of the gods!

fairydustandpixies · 25/07/2019 16:36

Twister.

Just that.

Ronsters · 25/07/2019 16:38

Calipo, cool me right down.
I like Solero but they melt too quickly

ChubbyMummy12 · 25/07/2019 17:02

Twister
And coops Prosecco ice pops 😍

maybenextmonth · 25/07/2019 17:20

Twister. And also a Feast - but they're not really an ice lolly.

bigpawsnopaws · 25/07/2019 17:34

I'm currently eating the watermelon ice lollies, I think they're made by Rowntrees.
They are sort of sorbet shaped like a slice of watermelon, the seeds are chocolate chips. Very refreshing!

Lima45 · 25/07/2019 17:42

Solero... No, Twister... no Solero... No Twister.

Can I have both??

It's one of them

justasking111 · 25/07/2019 17:57

Solero first choice. Second choice iceland neapolitan sandwich wafers.

Toomanycats99 · 25/07/2019 18:05

Asda do toffee crumbles I think still. My local Iceland did but they have shrunk the freeze section recently and so not seen them
I don't think since.

Gone2far · 25/07/2019 18:07

Twister

PineappleSeahorse · 25/07/2019 19:46

The new Waitrose rhubarb and ginger and elderflower and cucumber ice lollies sound very tempting.

A cherry brandy lolly from the ice cream man was my favourite when I was a kid. I think a twister is probably the best now though. When I was pregnant I ate a lot of cider lollies from Iceland, fancy one now!
