What's the oldest foodstuff, still in use, in your kitchen?

DS2 has just asked me for ground white pepper, to go on seafood, like they do at the cockle stalls.

It's not something I often use but I was able to produce a pot and handed it over saying "don't look at the date", which of course he did.

August 1997!

I might not be quite as aromatic as it once was but it will be fine, right?
