What happened to my swim togs

Went swimming today and came out to find my swimwear completely faded. My son's is fine so could it be something wrong with mine or is it something I should bring up with swimming pool. You can see from the neck how navy it was

A lot of ‘swimwear’ isn’t designed for swimming (only sunbathing). You should take this up with the manufacturer.

I've had it years, this only just happened today

My sons faded in very strong chlorine in my MiLS pool. Did it smell chloriney ? I've heard it means a dirty pool, which I could believe in my situation as the pool had just been opened after sitting all winter. It was also very sunny so I think the combination bleached his swim set. It was royal blue and went almost pinky pastel blue.

No didn't smell anything unusual/ extra chlorine. It's a swimming pool I visit a few times a month

Definitely talk to the pool about it especially if you have bathed there before in that suit with no effect.
