Is anyone awake to answer a quick question about my blood test form?

I can't find the letter the surgery sent to me with the attached forms and labels. The appointment is at 7.30am today. Will they still do it? Reception doesn't open till 8am. It's for my yearly diabetic check.

Thank you in advance for opening this very full thread. I'm humbled. Grin

Dull. Not full. I really doubt the future fullness of this thread.

I’m presuming you had the letter from your GP but the appointment is at the hospital? (you don’t really make it clear but it is the middle of the night!). The labels don’t matter so much as they can always write your details on the bottles by hand, but you do need the forms as they are the request for the test.
They may be able to phone through to the surgery and get the details - but you would need to be able to hang around while they sort it out. Or they might just tell you to go away.
Sorry I can’t be more definite, it depends on how things operate locally.

Sorry should have been clearer. The test is at my gp surgery. You used to be able to just walk in on a Thursday and wait your turn. But now its appointment only. Maybe they might make me wait for the reception to open.

I would go as soon as they open - either they'll do it then, or make another time for you. If it's a yearly checkup, it won't matter if it is delayed a short time.

Thanks Sea Eagle that's a good idea. Will do that.
