Anyone got these sandals? Are they as comfy as they look?

sandals, John Lewis

I've got a couple of little city breaks and long walks planned and need some comfy sandals that aren't hideous. These look so comfy and nice.

You might be better heading over to the S&B Board for advice on this

Following the “pretty but practical sandals” thread though I don’t trust the collective MN sandal taste

No idea but I do find Josef Siebel shoes comfy in general.

DappledThings · 23/07/2019 21:15

They look a little high in the heel for me to be properly comfy. But I swear by Birkenstocks. I think they look nice as well as being comfortable but they may not be to your taste.

Sorry but I think they look awful

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 23/07/2019 21:17

I do like a Birkenstock, problem is I have a really high "top of foot" no idea what it's called. So any that have the second strap across near the ankle don't fit. So I'm left with just the ones with the single strap across the toes so they flop too much.

Don't have them but really like the look of them.

Clawdy · 23/07/2019 21:29

I've always found Josef Siebel are the most comfortable sandals, I love them.

The top bit of your foot is called the bridge, I have a high bridge and find that style of sandal comfortable. The strap runs above the bridge.

Ellapaella · 23/07/2019 21:32

I like them! Can't comment on comfort though.

I’ve got a similar style of fitflop sandals which are very comfortable

DontCallMeShitley · 23/07/2019 21:40

I had a similar pair, they were really uncomfortable and I sold them at a boot fair, the lady that bought them was very excited so they must be OK for some feet, just not mine. It was the way they curl up at the toes I think. Also had some JS boots, same thing.
