Need ideas for 80's fancy dress

As the title says really, need ideas for a party this weekend. We don't want to spend too much money so nothing it and especially looking for ideas for a man. I am struggling to think of anything apart from leg warmers.

White t shirt and white trousers/jacket Miami Vice Style. White statement t shirt and skinny jeans. Sports brands and big trainers .

Just google 80s bands and look for inspiration! Not difficult to dress up as Wham or something similar.

Or Maverick from Top Gun...

Dungarees and go as Dexy's Midnight Runners

I'd go Bob Smith ftom The Cure ... but if thats a bit out there , remember Punk spilled over into the 80s and The Clash for example,are easy . . black leather jacket, ripped t shirt , spiky,hair etc

Big back combed hair, red messy lipstick, big baggy black jumper and black jeans - goth

A bright kaftan over trousers, trainers and plaited wig - Boy George.

Sloane Ranger - pleated below the knee skirt, court shoes, blouse with the collar turned up, velvet Alice band, string of pearls.
Greenham Common Protester- CND badges, grubby jeans, holey sweater.

I wore a neon pink t-shirt, black ra-ra skirt, leg warmers and converse, then put my hair in a super high ponytail and put in some neon orange dangling earrings and a neon blue string of beads. I didn't actually by anything, it was just stuff I had in the house.

Relax T shirt or plain T shirt with a neon string vest over the top, and ra-ra skirt with leg warmers and crimped hair. Plastic bangles and plastic big hoop earrings. Channel Desperately Seeking Susan.
