Having a baby after a heart transplant

Hi, my best friend is desperate to have a baby but life long health issues are stopping her from doing this. Shes now been told she will have to have a heart transplant and after that she can look to have her rejection medication decreased in hope that she'll conceive. Has anyone been through anything like this before? Its hard to comfort her when theres so little success stories available 😩 any insight would be much appreciated 🧡

Not the same but I'm in a similar boat to your friend and need a kidney transplant. I imagine it's fairly similar in terms of medication and have been told that if everything is ok after a year, I could try to have a baby. They would tweak medicines and monitor closely though!
