I never watched Fraggle Rock or The Muppets despite being the right age I think (40). It was only about 2 years ago I found out that they were in fact different shows and Fraggle Rock wasn't where the Muppets lived!

I just knew there were puppets and thought it was all one programme.

I'm 40 now, wasn't 40 when they were on! Have a friend about 5 years older who had a Muppets themed wedding so I assumed I was about the right age for it

I think the implication was that if you were 40 at the time, that's a bit old.
I totally thought the Muppets and Fraggle Rock were the same too.
