Inspired by earlier this evening DH asking DS what he fancied doing tomorrow... the answer was softplay!
We live in Brighton. DH will happily take 3 year old DS to London on the train for the day/weekend and then either go somewhere with MIL or with friends (museums, park, artificial beach etc)...so long days out, changes of clothes, public transport etc. Sometimes they don't meet anyone and just have a day out by themselves...tiring and hard work imo.
However, he hates and always tries to get out of going to our local softplay as it's 'too hard' 'mums might try and chat to me' 'I have to carry my bag round the climbing frame'...I think softplay is 100% easier as a) everything is soft b) DS can't get lost.
What weird parenting quirks do your DHs have?
