So marinated lamb in yoghurt and spices added to an onion and tom based sauce. It's nuce but bit too sourish and sharp from yoghurt. Any ideas how to change it

Wildidle · 20/07/2019 18:52

Sugar

Not traditional but a spoon of honey might help.

Plenty of fresh coriander and more tomatoes if you have them.

Quartz2208 · 20/07/2019 18:54

Sugar and/or maybe a bit of butter

Honey is traditional and works well.

Tomato paste, if you don't have coconut cream. Or a drop of double cream, bit of sugar or honey would all work. Got any sundried tomatoes?

Overseasmom100 · 20/07/2019 18:57

Angry dont have paste or cream

If lots of toms in then definitely sugar. Sounds delish though!

Overseasmom100 · 20/07/2019 18:57

Right Im going in.with the sweet chilli sauce

Overseasmom100 · 20/07/2019 19:25

A bit late now but an Indian trick is to put a whole banana in, let it simmer and take it out before you serve. Works a treat.

Esspee · 20/07/2019 22:38

Marmalade or mango chutney or simply sugar will work.
