What are you up to today?

I'm severely lacking motivation today, and am still sitting at my kitchen table drinking coffee. I am dressed though - I went to get money out for dd1 to go to town with her friends.

I think I'll get the washer going, and wash up from last night then see if dd2 wants to do anything with the day, or maybe just have a moochy day in the house.

Anyone up to anything much?

First day of the school hols and I am SHATTERED (I'm a teacher). The most I can manage today is going for a food shop!

We are still in school/work until Friday, and go on holiday on Friday night. I really ought to start packing...

Im running up mount Snowdon at 2pm - its a race and my 3rd one!

We’re having a film day as it’s raining loads, and then will have a takeaway for tea.

House is tidy, shopping has arrived.

I’m waiting for my dad to arrive for lunch. He flew into the country yesterday and I haven’t seen him for 3 years.

It’s my birthday on Monday so having a day out today to celebrate (working on Monday). Heading to town on the train just now, going to the new museum, then a bit of shopping, a cocktail and a Chinese restaurant for dinner! 😀

First day of the school holidays here too (for me and ds,) dds school doesn't finish until Wednesday, so get yo to do drop off and pick up at school times next week. I e been up since 7 and cleaned up a bit, and lm about to take dd horse riding, then spend a couple of hours in the park with dd, ds and friends.
Then home for a film night and junk food.

All lazing around here boys still in bed or in their rooms at least. Ds1 working later. Ds might go out, might not.... Dh and I going to shopping centre soon, need bits and pieces. Probably get a coffee there. Then dh will make dinner and we'll watch telly.

Eating lunch now having taken a cold call from someone who said that my computer was corrupt...oh laudy...😂... strung them along for a while before telling them, in panic, that I better call the police 😂🤣😂

We just went out to lunch, purchased cleaning products on the way back to motivate me to tackle the shithole home, friend is visiting tonight.

We're on holiday, just coming back from body to to Zante - fabulous

It's a lovely day, me and DD have already been for a swim in the lake, and earlier I put netting over my strawberries to keep the birds off (should have done it a while ago, several half eaten strawberries on the plants now!).
DS just woke up from his nap and I think I'll take him out in the garden soon.
Tonight I'm hosting a board game night so need to go to the shop and get some beers later.

DH and I went and did the food shop and had a coffee. We’re going out at 3 to meet up with a big group of friends who we have known forever and who live far and wide. Lots of drinking and eating for the rest of the day so I’m having a bit of a slouch while I can before I start getting ready. DH is pottering with a few chores.

DD (20) is studiously writing something and DS (15) is in his usual spot in front of the Xbox. They’re going out together later I think to see a film.

Happy days

Been for a long walk on a very windy beach. Doing a few jobs then relaxing for the rest of the day with tv and pink gin 🍸

Had a run on an extremely windy beach. Then took DD and her friend back to beach to swim - it's Baltic, they're insane. Just finishing lunch, then a walk to the village shop for cake. Lasagne for tea then an early night before home tomorrow.

38C with 78% humidity here today. Very warm! We will be outside gardening, then maybe go for a walk.

Been sitting on the sofa most of the day.
DD is with her dad; I went to a brilliant 80's night last night and I have both a sore head and sore feet!

I had 3 work friends over to sleep after our summer night out last night so bacon sandwiches and a wander into town for coffee and shopping this morning.
Dh and Dcs got back from visiting grandparents at lunchtime, my mum called round and been pretty lazy for the rest of the day.

Made a belated birthday cake for myself this morning, with DH and DD(5). Then we went for a bike ride along a canal towpath a 30-minute drive from home. It was lovely, sunny but not too hot, lots of birds on the canal. We took a little picnic, and bought ice cream along the way. It was DD's longest ride so far, about 10km.

When we got back we had cake, and then DH took DD to her swimming lesson, and I had a peaceful bath. When they got home, DD went straight out with our elderly neighbour to walk their dogs. It was then a quick tea for DD followed by a bath. I've just put her to bed, and DH is making our dinner. A really nice day.

I went to a party at ds’s wodk this afternoon and accidentally had too much wine in the sun. About 2 mins from home dh pointed out this I have NO idea how many people saw me with one frigging lens in my sunglasses and I didn’t even notice 😬🤣🤣
