I've just realised that our trusty memory foam/latex mattress is 20 years old. I'm fed up with feeling crap in the morning! I suppose I'll have to go and lay on one in a shop, but what can ypu recommend? Budget about 800 ((weeps))

Hypnos here with the pillow topper. My husband weighs over twice what I do and we don't roll or even feel when the other moves.
Apparently the queen sleeps on a Hypnos but not sure how true that is...

Do the double hovags work on a uk standard double or will I need a new bed as well? Ido need a new bed but i havent got loads of money.

Ikea do both European and standard uk sizes now so their double mattress will fit a standard double bed.

Another vote for IKEA. Morgedal mattress. Only 200 pounds for a king size but we love it. DH has to get up about an hour before me and I hardly notice it. Have had it fir about 6 months so not sure about longevity for the price.
