What type of haircut do your son/s have?

My 7 year old has it a bit longer on top.

Long, and he has a pretty face so he's often mistaken for a girl 😬

He is autistic though and won't have it cut, we have to trim it when he's asleep and hope for the best (he's four).

DS2 (10) short back and sides, longer and spiky on top
DS1 (17) very short sides, longer on top and down the back, like wide mohawk but not standing up. Quite like THIS because I don't think I described it well at all!

Grade 2 back and sides done with clippers Slightly longer on top, chipped into with scissors.
He is 5 and has a lot of fine straight hair!

My DS 11 has a 1 on side and 5 on top. He’s not into hairstyles. He did want the line as they call it but he doesn’t have the right head shape.

He has lots of fine straight hair, so always wondering what type of style would be best.

Senior aged one: elbow length, undercut to help with avoiding heat rash.

Primary aged one: moo. No other way to describe it. It goes where it wants and is a scruffy mess regardless of mine or the hairdresser efforts.

Mop, not moo.

DS19 has had a Peaky Blinders style cut for the last few years. It looks very smart because he leaves the top part a bit longer and uses a texturising powder in it. When he was at primary school it was short at the back and long and sweeping at the front, like an emo type. He looked great but he hates looking at old photos.

DS (nearly 8) has short back and sides really. He has a very cute face and it just looks best that way. I like boys with long hair, but with little ones I think it only works if their hair is thick, curly or wavy, but DS' hair is dead straight and fairly fine, so I've kept it short.

I am fascinated to know what hair will be 'in' for boys by the time he's a teenager. In my days it was all 90s 'curtains' while they were growing it out, about 5 years back they all had that Justin Bieber/boyband long fringe thing going on, and these days all the teenagers around here seem to have the cut that's for some reason known as the 'Meet me at McDonalds' with clipped back and sides and a big mop on top! (google it if you don't know what I mean)

10 year old - spiky on top, very close clip on the sides, and a star shape carved into one side above his ear.
