Can LR44 and SR44 batteries be used together?

I have a toy that needs to have its batteries replaced. It takes 3 A76 batteries.

Apparently A76 Replaces LR44, AG13 and SR44 battery.

I have currently have 2 LR44 and 1 SR44 batteries. Does anyone know if I can use the 3 batteries in the toy together safely?

LR44 and SR44 are just the chemicals used. LR44 is Lithium, SR44 is the same size and spec., just Silver Oxide instead. So yes, you can mix them. Just that the LR44 batteries will run out before the SR44 ones do, so don't chuck them out straight away.
