Podcasts to listen to while I clean the house

Hello, it's my day off today. Have lovely afternoon of writing planned, but first I must clean house and prep dinner. Please can someone recommend good podcasts to listen to? Am fairly new to podcasts but would like to get into them.

I'm interested in learning new things in a relatable discursive way.

Thank you x

Ooh following.
Last week I listened to Caliphate from the New York Times. Interesting if rather dark.

I love the Guilty Feminist - funny and thought provoking!

There’s a brilliant podcast by Jon Ronson called ‘The Butterfly Effect’. I’m now listening to the follow up, ‘The Last Days of August’, also excellent.
I’ve never enjoyed cleaning so much!

I recommend stuff you should know/short stuff with Chuck & Josh

Shagged married annoyed is very funny

Thank you all. I love Jon Ronson so might start with him, although Caliphate also sounds really good.

Really depends what topics you like?
The infinite monkey cage is good for science/comedy;
Redhanded for true crime,
Mueller she wrote for American politics.

I’d also recommend Stay Tuned with Preet. It’s about US law but honestly I’d listen to the man read a shopping list, he has such a nice voice.

I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts. Definitely recommend Small Town Murder if you want a laugh (that sounds bad, but I promise that they're laughing mostly at themselves, and never at the victims!)
Also recommend Last Podcast on the Left if you're into crime or spooky stuff. They've just done a recent 3 parter on Bonnie & Clyde that was really interesting and entertaining.
