Is CBeebies land full of costumed characters?

DS is 2. Would love CBeebies land generally but is currently terrified of the big people in character costumes understandably, creepy things could we manage to avoid them or are they everywhere like Disneyland?

No, from what I remember they have a specific time and place for meet and greet characters should you wish. That's the only time we ever saw them while we were there

I don’t see any walking about, saw them when we went to the shows.

There’s an outdoor theatre place where the shows are, but you could easily avoid going there.
Please don’t go during the school holidays. It’s awful.

We've recently been, and only saw them in the theatre and at the hotel. It's a brilliant place, we had an amazing time!
