Paediatric outpatient minor surgery- what happens?

My son has an appointment to remove a cyst from his arm tomorrow but I have no idea what they will actually do. I assume it's a local anaesthetic because there wasn't any info about a general. Will I be allowed to watch/ hold his hand? Do you think he'll be able to take part in swimming and sports this weekend?
Thanks 😊

There's some information here www.nhs.uk/conditions/skin-cyst/ about the procedure, scroll down. I imaging you'll be allowed to stay with him.

Ask about hygiene/washing, and activities before he's discharged home tomorrow. Good luck

Thanks, I hadn't seen that.
