Phone just went off, I reached to get it and it was an 0161 number (manc) but showed as potential fraud calling.

Mobile phone company getting touchy?

I mean do mobile phone companies automatically give a warning nowadays if a call might not be genuine?

I get warnings that a caller may be a scam so I think this is pretty normal now

One of those stupid callers that go on about surveys or PPI. Ignore. I get loads, some from 0161 area.

I get lots of ambulance chasing calls from 0161 numbers.

Yes, my phone gives a warning, it says something like "suspected fraud"
