challenge to plan a meal with 4 ingredients!

watching a fun thread about this I thought it might be an idea to do a quiz thing - I give 4 ingredients & next poster suggest meal & than post different 4 ingredients! You can add extra that are in store cupboard - which consists of: plain flour Oil rice pasta potatoes salt pepper curry powder mixed herbs soya sauce apple juice :)
so tinned sardines onions baked beans sweet corn

Fishcakes with the sardines, onions, and potatoes. Serve with baked beans or sweetcorn, or both if you must. Or put the sweetcorn in the fishcakes.

Fry onions in oil
Add grated potato
Add curry powder
Form into patties
Coat with flour and shallow fry

I’d start with the soy sauce and work backwards.

Slice the onions and chop the sardines, stir fry those with the sweet corn and season liberally with the soy sauce.

Second meal would be mashed potatoes, heavily seasoned with the pepper, not so much salt. Backed beans poured over the top in a bowl to catch all the tomato sauce.

That’s if I’m only feeding myself. For a family I’d do fish cakes like honey

Make pancakes according to packet instructions; fry off some curry paste, add drained chickpeas and a can of water, simmer to reduce until thickened. Fill pancakes with chickpea curry (like a dosa), with mango chutney/coriander if you have it. Eat hobnobs for pudding.
