Things you'd do more often if you could be bothered/afford it?

If I could be bothered... I'd change my bed sheets every day!

If I could afford it... I'd buy new shoes as soon as the pair I wear looked anywhere near used

Fluff my sofa cushions. My sofa is my most favourite thing I own, and when it's fluffed and crumb free I want to live there. It just takes ages to get all the cushions off, hoover, fluff and reposition especially with a big hairy dog and a toddler...and DH...they're all messy gits

If I could be bothered I’d do the gardening but I really CBA. I like the garden to look nice but I find actually doing the work sheer drudgery.

If I could afford it I’d hire gardeners (in fact someone is coming round next week to give me a quote so I’ll find out if I can afford it).

This is going to make me sound like a total weirdo.... If i could be bothered to (probably could afford it) and it wouldnt be terrible for the environment I would wear a pair of new socks every day. I love the feeling of new socks!

crosser62 · 14/07/2019 12:55

Holidays, id go on holiday much much more.

Faith50 · 14/07/2019 13:05

Holiday more
Eat out
Buy breakfast/lunch at work - can afford it but cannot justify spending £200 per month
Hire a cleaner
Hire a gardener
Shop in Reiss, All Saints, Ted Baker, Jigsaw instead of H&M, New Look, Oasis, Dotty P

Definitely hire a cleaner. I probably could afford it but I just can't do it.

bwydda · 14/07/2019 17:07

Could be bothered- doing my hair and makeup. I like it when I do it have all the necessary things to do it every day, but I can't be bothered.

Had money- go to live theatre. When we do it the children love it, I love it and every time I think "I wish I could afford for this to be regular".
Also eat more fish. It's good for you and we all love it but it's so expensive!

Pasithea · 14/07/2019 17:12

New bed sheets every day.
Eat out. I can’t be arsed to get ready and go out.

BloggersNet · 14/07/2019 17:16

Bothered: exercise and stretch regularly.

Afford: see my family abroad

caffeinebuzz · 14/07/2019 17:24

If I could be bothered... I would get up 45 minutes earlier every day to exercise

If I could afford it... I would hire a gardener for the grounds of my new country pile, since we're daydreaming

whiteroseredrose · 14/07/2019 18:08

If I could be bothered I'd cook a variety healthy of healthy meals every day.

If I could afford it I'd pay someone else to do it!

Tryingtogetitright · 14/07/2019 18:11

Get my nails shellaced every fortnight. I've had it done for special occasions and love it but never keep it up because I can't be bothered and can't afford to do it regularly.

Decormad38 · 14/07/2019 18:15

Book hairdresser before every night out.

Book a holiday at the beginning of summer to get a slight tan.

Book a major clothes shop in to coincide with each season.

Get a facial once a term.

Jinglejanglefish · 14/07/2019 18:18

If I could be bothered I'd hoover more often. I really should as we have two long haired cats, I just really hate it.

If I could afford it I'd get regular massages and get my hair done every month rather than the current 6 months to a year. I'd have it professionally coloured as well.

ZeldaPrincessOfHyrule · 14/07/2019 18:32

Run. I'd run every day if I could be bothered/find the time/didn't run out of asthma inhaler because I forget to get a repeat prescription/could afford the support trainers I need to deal with some serious over pronation. And then I'd probably be a svelte, effortlessly-stunning thirty-something who's the envy of everyone she meets...
...yeah, probably not Grin

gabsdot · 14/07/2019 18:33

If I could afford it I'd have someone wash and blow dry my hair for me every other day.
Also I second the new socks thing. I'd always wear new socks.

Chottie · 14/07/2019 18:49

I would have more holidays, more days out, more meals out

I would pay for a cleaner every week, have the house windows cleaned inside and outside fortnightly, have the cars cleaned weekly, have dry cleaning collected and delivered.

I would definitely have my hair done more regularly, plus beauty treatments and a personal trainer.

Sarcelle · 14/07/2019 18:56

If I could be bothered I would apply body lotion everyday.

If I has the £ I would travel everywhere by helicopter. (I know this is detrimental to environment but it's not going to happen anyway.) I have been on two helicopters and I loved the flying and the speed.
