Ideas for holidays/camps/ summer schools for shy 17year old

Have any of you got any good ideas for either camps or summer schools or similar for my very shy DD who is 17. She used to enjoy going on ATE superweeks but she is too old now. And she’s too (what she would call) awkward to go on a PGL on her own. She is learning photography, and geography and maybe some residential courses in those might be fun. Or any other ideas where she would be looked after a little; bit just left to her own devices? Any help appreciated, she is now worrying about an empty summer.

Something like this? www.youngphotographerslondon.com/

Don't know where you are but Phoenix cinema in Leicester has film summer school for different age groups. Might be something similar near you

Food banks often want extra volunteers over the summer, so that might be worth a go.
National Trust do residential volunteering courses for young people. Other than that you have to pay to go on them, I know nothing about them!

Have a look at these two pages thetes a number of camps listed on both of them

tutorful.co.uk/blog/incredible-uk-summer-camps-perfect-for-4-19-year-olds

www.quintessentially.com/noted/quintessentially-education-top-10-uk-summer-school

The X camps that a PP has mentioned is listed on both of them.

Or i don't know where you are but have a look at your local university they might run some summerschools for under 18's during tje summer

This for instamce is nottingham trents page of summer course onlinestore.ntu.ac.uk/short-courses/creative-short-courses-for-15-17-year-olds/summer-schools

And she’s too (what she would call) awkward to go on a PGL on her own.

What an outward bound holiday that is for gold D of E residential? I say this because people won'r go with friends or jf they do they will be split into different groups and different rooms and there is a much more inclusive and collegiate atmosphere.

Or somethign like this:
spaceschool.co.uk/S_Spaceschool/our-programme

I did something similar when I was 17 and loved it.
