Do you have a bean to cup machine you love?

I want to buy a bean to cup machine and I’m completely overwhelmed by the choice! I’m reasonably flexible on budget but it needs to be fairly compact.

Also please do tell me if you bought one then regretted it!

My bean to cup machine is just wonderful. It's an old model now but you can get a newer version. It's a delonghi prima Donna delux
I highly recommend it - even tho it can be a little bit high maintenance... always asking for things like 'empty grounds container' and 'fill tank.' I recommend de scaling it as soon as it needs it, you can buy the stuff online.

Delonghi Magnifica. We've had the same machine since jan 2011 and used it every single day and it so FANTASTIC.

So easy to use and maintain even in a hard water area. It's amazing.

This machine is always highly rated in these threads for a reason. I don't normally care about gadgets but this one is just brilliant.

Does the magnifica have a hopper for ground coffee (for decaf)? It does look the sort of thing and seems to be the updated version of the Prima Donna.

Sounds like they are similar. Ours has a bit where you can add pre ground so ideal for decaf.

Have to admit it was a total impulse buy at the time, I rarely do that, but it's so utterly worth it.

De'Longhi Magnifica

Use it daily, one of our best buys.

We have a De’Longhi Magnifica.

Used almost every day, it’s small and compact and we bought when on offer. The other machine we contemplated was about 1.2k. This one cost about £250 or 300, can’t remember exactly. We buy decaffeinated lavazza coffee beans online for our machine in bulk. They cost about £7.50 a bag on Amazon I have never seen decaf coffee beans for sale in any shop.

Yes to no decaf beans that’s why I asked if you can also use ground for decaf. I’ve seen some where there’s a separate hopper for a small amount of ground coffee. It’s not complete essential but would be handy!

We have a Melitta Caffeo Solo which is wonderful, but I do hear the Delonghis are the best.

In our last house we had an in built and plumbed in Bosch bean to cup and it was the most wonderful thing ever. It was a rented place so wasn’t ours! When I have the money I would want it again.

We have a De’longhi Dinamica which also has the hopper for the ground coffee. We replaced a pod machine as I was concerned about the waste we were producing. I love the new machine.

Gaggia brera. Love it.
