And then he fell off the ladder

So going about my daily business, which usually consists of aimlessly walking arou d the village an local retail park with my one year old ds. Get to the village shops where one comes across a highway maintenance man whistling his little bald head off, isn't it nice to see happy people ☺
I continue my stroll, a few minutes later, said whistler cruises by in his van screeching "don't you want me babbbyyy" classic I thought, top quality tune.
An hour or so later, I've finished my Window shopping at the retail park (deep sigh, skint is no fun) and head back up the main road towards the village.
I spy a van in the distance, and a distinctively shiny pea head.
Boom, he's clocked me.
I continue on the approach, he crosses the road with a new 30 limit sign.
Opens up his ladders, takes a few steps
CRASH
The ladder literally folds underneath him like it's made of paper.
Ten minutes later he passes me further up in the van, no music on, head down, sun reflecting off it blinding me 😅

Anyone else had something cheer them up today?
