Soup past use by date - ok to eat?

About two weeks ago I bought a Moroccan style veggie soup (chilled, not tinned) with a use by date of 9th July. Forgot about it and rediscovered it last night, would it be ok to eat today if I make sure I heat it thoroughly? I'm thinking if it was fine for two weeks or so, an extra three days aren't the end of the world. WWYD?

I'd still eat it

Thanks - think I'll chance it

Yeah I would. I take it it’s been in the fridge unopened?
