My Dad lives quite far from us all (we are desperately trying to get him to move closer but he’s a independent, stubborn bugger ! )
had PSP - Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
His shower was in the bath & he was finding it increasingly difficult to step into the bath.
He got quotes from Age Concern etc to convert to a walk in shower with chair/rail etc. These quotes came in at over £5k.
Unfortunately he/we couldn’t not afford this.
Care & Repair - a non for profit organisation (a small, national charitable organisation set up to improve the homes & living conditions of older people) quoted £850.
My Dad who is very old school is absolutely over the moon. He says the plumber is absolutely amazing- meticulous, tidy & lovely.
