I suffer from chronic pain and im having a few bad days, I would rather be living homeless on the streets rather than living my quite nice lifestyle in this pain. I don't need anyone to reply as this is not a pity party I just need to get this out there. So bloody fed up and if i could get a double amputation i would.

i feel this SO much. I begged for years, from being a teenager, for an amputation to get rid of the pain i was in, was always refused of course and then....the pain spread to the rest of my body so now, well, my body is utterly fucked and theres nothing can be done. the good days are few and the bad days, well, they are beyond awful

Would an amputation help or would it still cause phantom limb pains? I really hope more research is done in this area to identify better treatments because it is so so shit to feel this way all the time. Stay strong OP, people love you and need you and they value your determination to stick with them
